Courses

Commercial Pilot License – CPL

The Commercial Pilot License allows you to fly an aircraft for compensation or hire. This is also the minimum license requirement for employment as a pilot or become a flight instructor. Commercial pilots can also be paid for certain types of operations, such as banner towing, agricultural applications, and photography.

Minimum requirements to obtain a Commercial Pilot License are:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language fluently.
  • Obtain at least a second class medical certificate from an Aviation Medical Examiner
  • Pass a computerized aeronautical knowledge test
  • Accumulate and log a specified amount of training and experience under Part 61, Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) section 61.129.
  • Pass an oral test and flight test administered by an FAA inspector or designated examiner

The minimum required time for the Commercial Pilot License is 250 Hours under CFR 14 Part 61.

Flight Dispatch Programme

The Airline Dispatcher also known as Flight Dispatcher or flight operations officer is one of the best paid and exciting jobs in the aviation industry. Every airline requires aircraft dispatchers just as much as pilots for flight operations. With an Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate, the career opportunities open up worldwide!

Upon graduation from Flight School and acquiring your Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate, you will be ready to work in an airline, sharing command decisions with an airline captain.

Course Description:

The Aircraft /Flight Dispatcher course contains the same syllabus and subjects covered in the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). One must keep in mind when pilots train they have over 2 years from the commencement of flight training to achieving an ATPL. Whereas, all this theory is compressed into a course with 3 months duration. This course has a steep learning curve from start to finish and requires dedication and commitment for course completion. This course is not suitable for procrastinators.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

The minimum requirements vary from airline to airline. However, majority of the airlines have similar requirements for hiring listed below:

Minimum educational qualification is a 12th standard or equivalent.
Be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language fluently.

Radio Telephony Restricted (RTR)

The international professional license RTR(A) or Radio Telephony Restricted (Aeronautical) required for the use of communication equipment in an aircraft is the prerequisite for issue of pilot license in many countries. In the United States this license is not required for domestic flying.

The WPC (Wireless Planning and coordination) wing of the Ministry of Communication, Government of India conducts this examination and issues the RTR(A) license in India.

The RTR (Aeronautical) exam consists of following two parts.

Part 1: Practical test in Regulations and Procedures (Transmission)
Part 2: Oral Exam (VIVA) in A) Regulation and Procedure B) Radio principles and practice
